What we collect

This website has no contact form, no newsletter, and no analytics. We do not collect your name, email address, or any other personal details through the site, and we do not track how you use it.

If you email us using the address on this site, we will have your email address and whatever you choose to tell us. We use that only to reply.

Like all websites, our hosting provider automatically records basic technical information when a page is requested, such as your IP address, browser type, and the time of the request. These server logs exist for security and troubleshooting and are kept for a limited period.

Embedded video and Instagram

The showreels and films on this site are hosted by YouTube and displayed using YouTube’s embedded player. We use YouTube’s privacy-enhanced mode, which means the player does not set tracking cookies when the page loads. YouTube still receives your IP address and basic information about your device so it can deliver the video, but it does not place cookies on your device until you choose to play a video. If you press play and are signed in to a Google account, YouTube may set cookies and associate your viewing with that account.

The Instagram feed is displayed using a widget provided by Elfsight. This feed does not load automatically. In its place you will see a small notice, and the feed only loads if you click to view it. Nothing is sent to Elfsight or Instagram, and no cookies are set, unless you choose to load the feed. Once you click to view it, Elfsight receives your IP address and basic information about your device, and places cookies on your device.

We do not receive any of this information, and we do not use it for any purpose. The processing is carried out by Google and Elfsight under their own privacy policies:

If you would prefer to avoid this, most browsers also allow you to block third-party cookies, or to browse in a private window. Blocking them may stop the videos or the Instagram feed from displaying.

Cookies

This website sets no cookies of its own for tracking or analytics.

No cookies are set when the page loads. The YouTube player only sets cookies if you choose to play a video, and the Instagram feed only sets cookies if you choose to load it. There is also a small technical cookie used by the website software to check that your browser accepts cookies at all.

You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings at any time. Doing so may affect whether the videos and Instagram feed display correctly.

Our lawful basis

• Legitimate interests in replying to enquiries, keeping the website running and secure, and displaying our work using the video and social platforms it is hosted on.
• Steps prior to a contract where your enquiry relates to a possible project.

How long we keep things

Emails are kept for as long as is reasonably necessary to deal with your enquiry, and for any project that follows from it, after which they are deleted.

International transfers

Google and Elfsight are based outside the UK. Where information is transferred outside the UK, it is protected by safeguards approved for this purpose, such as the UK extension to the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or the International Data Transfer Addendum to the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses.

Under UK GDPR you have the right to:

This website is served over an encrypted connection, and access to it is limited. No method of transmission or storage over the internet is completely secure.
